As a night shift mentor, you will be engaged in helping to facilitate self-awareness, motivation, and navigating social situations and relationships with young adult clients aged 18 to 30 years old.
You will be involved in formal and informal teaching of life skills:
Activities of daily living (ADL's) Encourage and teach bedtime routines and preparation for the next day Care of the living space (house, room, bathroom, kitchen, vehicle maintenance) Encourage and teach morning routines and Work Hardening skills Role modeling healthy adult behaviors and relationships.
Aloft is looking for upbeat, mature, professional, positive, and driven individuals that have the ability to show genuine care and concern while demonstrating the ability to set healthy boundaries.
The successful applicants will have life experiences they can draw from and have the personality and skill set to motivate others and work in a team atmosphere.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a clean driving record, high school completion, some college preferred, and a desire to make a difference in young adults' lives are a must.
