Keep the assigned working area free from rubbish.
Report need for repair to plumbing, electrical, or heating systems to immediate supervisor and/or maintenance department.
Make minor building repairs.
Moves furniture or equipment within building as required for various activities and as directed by principal and/or maintenance supervisor.
Complies with local laws and procedures for the storage and disposal of trash, rubbish, and waste.
All waste like paper, dirt, or garbage must be disposed of in a manner prescribed daily.
Fill all soap, towel, and toilet tissue dispensers daily.
All floor space such as classrooms, hallways, closets, custodial closets, offices, etc.
are to be swept and cleaned and mopped when necessary daily.
(Good housekeeping in custodial areas will be expected, vacuumed and spray buffed).
Finger printed walls are to be washed and cleaned as necessary to maintain clean walls (doors and windows included).
All areas or objects such as restrooms or drinking fountains, locker rooms, and showers must be cleaned and mopped and disinfected daily.
Restrooms--All china in restrooms is to be cleaned and disinfected daily.
Sufficient deodorant levels will be maintained in all restrooms at all times.
All areas such as window sills, book shelves, desks, tables or other objects in rooms and hallways are to be dusted weekly.
All areas where food is served must be mopped and cleaned daily.
Areas with rugs are to vacuumed daily.
Areas assigned to custodians will be done on an individual basis unless otherwise directed.
Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
