JOB
Summary:
Electrician position will assemble, modify, and install electrical components, equipment, and controls.
This role will be to communicate with production managers and engineers to understand the scope and timeline of each project.
The Chiller Journeyman Electrician position will also assist, monitor, and direct the work of others including; apprentices, electrical helpers, and general laborers.
This position will be required to manage their daily schedule and tasks to ensure deadlines are met and a quality product is delivered.

JOB
Responsibilities:
Layout and install electrical raceways including conduit, wireways, and cable trays; Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine material requirements and assembly instruction; Assemble and install electrical equipment per instructions and wiring schematics; Inspect and test control wiring to identify malfunctions or defects; Manage and monitor members of the electrical team; apprentices, helpers, and general laborers; Other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Certification:
Completion of National Electrical Code (NEC) certified journeyman apprenticeship; 2-5 years' experience as a journeyman electrician in an industrial or construction setting; Ability to read and understand electrical plans and wiring diagrams, and adhere to safety guidelines; Knowledge of high voltage equipment; Knowledge of 3 phase motors; Strong organizational and multitasking skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; High degree of accuracy and attention to detail; Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stoop, kneel, or crouch throughout an 8-to-10-hour day;? Reliable attendance required.
Be responsible and dependable at work; Ability to carry product, equipment, and tools up to 50 pounds and push or pull product up to 100 pounds;? Must be able to safely work from 20 ladders; Knowledge of jobsite safety and ability to always ensure a safe workplace.
